We seek franchise owners who are interested in the building maintenance, paving, striping or service industries. A good design-eye is needed to visualize and create efficient parking and pedestrian line designs. Franchise owners need to be personable, professional and able to create relationships with partnerships in their communities. Any qualified individual eager to start their own business, operate it from home, and follow our well-developed and proprietary systems is encouraged to learn more about the programs and start-up packages we offer.
Five days of initial franchise training will be provided for up to three individuals in Rochester, New York or other designated location. Our team will send at least one representative to assist you with onsite training for up to three days during the first 60 days that you are open for business. Our team is available for ongoing assistance with everything from equipment to operations to marketing. There are ample opportunities for ongoing industry education as well. Franchise owners will benefit from startup packages, branded vehicle wrap specs, technology tools, local marketing campaign assistance, and a confidential operation manual, which details important procedures, reporting, equipment maintenance, marketing, and more.
The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $205,806-326,678 for a single location. This includes a $49,500 initial franchise fee (1-800-STRIPER will offer a discount of 15% of the initial franchisee fee for qualified veterans). As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.
The initial term of your franchise agreement is ten years, with two additional successor agreement options of five years each.
We do not offer direct financing to franchisees. We are able to provide references to qualified financing or lending resource.
We charge a royalty fee equal to 7% of gross revenue paid on a monthly basis and there are fees charged for access to various approved technology platforms (please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document for a full list of fees). These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of product and supply channels, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.
Owners must spend a minimum of $15,000 on initial launch marketing and promotions, within the first 5 months after signing the franchise agreement (10% of the initial launch marketing fund may be required to be spent on pay-per-click marketing). On an ongoing basis, Franchise owners are expected to spend the greater of $500/month or 3% of gross revenue on local marketing. Franchise owners are also required to contribute 2% of gross revenue to the System Marketing Fund, paid monthly. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the 1-800-STRIPER brand and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials and campaigns.
